Like most guys I like power and speed and want a respectable vehicle to tool around in.But showin` off on public streets is not cool.There`s enough idiots out there as we all know. If you go to all the trouble to build-up your ride,go to a drag strip and rack up some time slips for bragging rights.Dont take the chance of getting killed or worse killing someone else.Thats why I like watching Pinks on TV.There seems to be some honor in it,be it winner or just trying your best . The only bad thing that `````````I encountered was the waiting in line to make a run on a crowded Friday night and not passin` Tech because of wearing a sleevles shirt.For the $15 dollar entry fee, the memory of some guy asking me while I was hooking the mufflers back up what size big block I was runnin` when I only had a 302 was priceless.

yeah,i get tired of all the chevy and dodge guys in their trucks coming up to me at stop lights and revving their engines when they hear the rumble from under my truck. Give me a break already!! if i wanted to race i would be driving a mustang on the track. Sometimes I just rev the heck out of mine like i am going to bite,then when the light turns grren I just take off like normal. the looks on their faces when I pill up to the next light? priceless!!
