probably goint to look at it tommorow. its in an f-250 regular cab. it has 303k on it. i got a 93 7.3 with 235000 on it that runs absolutley beautiful. what sgould i look for. im good with this stuff just not with that old of a truck. she claims it has a new trans,f&r drive axles, and a rear end. what else major is known to go out on these? havent had to do anything on the 93 besides injector pump seals and the "wear items"
No if it be dead long before it reaches the outside of the block. The main problem it causes is pin holes in the cylinder walls on these motors. We have the same problem on big truck motors with cylinder liners and on the block where the liner seals.
