Hey guys,
Finaly got my block into the shop to get hot tanked and bored .30 over. Now the rebuilding of it.
The engine is going to be for a bogger/hill climbing truck and to the market once in awhile.
I am stuck on what cam shaft I should put into it, I want something very chunky and lumpy.
I was t hinking the comp xtreme 4x4 but could not find much info on it towards being chunky and lumpy.
Any help with this rebuild would be nice.
My guy will rebuild it all for a case of beer but I have to buy everything and I do not have much knowledge on the guts of engines and the numbers.
Thanks
Chris
If you go to comp cams website you can build your own custom cam. You just tell them exactly what you already have in your engine and what you want your cam to do/perform, and its really not that expensive.
^^^^^What Kritzberger said. Instead of picking a cam that You think would work, go straight to the horses mouth and ask the experts who can customize the right one for you.
