Need and axle tag decoded

The axle tag reads

WDM BK2 3L30
3.50 9 S31

I know it is a 9" with 3.50 gears non limited slip, but i need to know what the spline count is on it.

Thanks

for some reason the little smiley guy came up, must be a hot key. Where the smile is it should read eight D, as in the number 8.

The original rearend in my 80 was a 9 inch 3.50 gears, and it had 31 splines. But pulling a axle and counting is the only way to know for sure.

I remember putting a used gear set from a early 70's Bronco in it, and I had to change the carrier piece that holds the ring gear, because the Bronco had a 28 spline axle, and the 31 spline axle would not fit through the smaller Bronco carrier. It all worked out in the end.

The chart I found shows:

WDM BK2 = Bronco '80-'86 F150. 3.50, 9", Non locking, 31 spline.
