Major Surgery Snowball

Well guys, I've been putting off alot of things for Rockee. Finally it had to happen. I had to park the truck in front of the shop and just go for it. I noticed several months ago that my intake manifold seals to the heads were blown out. You could see stripes where the boost was blowing by them. Well to do that, I needed to pull the turbo. If I was gonna do that, I should put my modified pedistal on, and gut the EBPV. And if I'm that far, my up pipes leak like hell, so fix those too right? Well crap, an exhaust manifold bolt has been broken off on the passenger side since I bought it. Might as well fix that too. And since I got my new Cervinis cowl hood painted, better put that on too. Why not throw a clutch in while I'm there, right? Easier to work on the up pipes with the tranny out right? And the grand finally will be to rebuild the injectors again because I still can't find my miss. Needless to say I'm ***** Deep in this truck at this point. I've been putting all this off forever because all these problems/mods daisy chain each other. I hate having my truck down for more than a day, but it's got to happen. So right now the truck is pretty much gutted under the hood for the most part. But i know it will all be worth it. And prolly after all that, I'll decide to put my intercooler in. LOL Anyway, sorry for being distant lately, but it's the holidays and work has been crazy. I miss you guys, and I hope your holidays were great.

Sounds like my H2e job. Started as a clutch job and grew to way much more than that.

Passenger manifold-Done
New up pipes- Done
Rick's modified pedistal-Done
Gutted EBPV-Done
Intake Plenums-Done
Clutch-Done......But I kinda fibbed on that one, that was done last week. But I honestly though I was gonna have to pull the tranny to do the up pipes easier. I talked to Adam at Powerstrokeshop.com and had him pull me a set of up pipes without any of the normal indentions to clear the head and firewall. I wanted them to flow better.

Injectors-Not done. I held off because the weather is supposed to turn to crap. It's actually lightning right now. And I gotta go back to work.

But the end result is great. Truck runs good, but still has the miss from the injector. But man, with that gutted EBPV, the turbo sounds completely different, in a cool way. And my boost came back from 28 to around 35psi. I figure higher once I get the miss ironed out. But man, what a ton of work. Once the weather chills out, I'll wash it up and show you guys the new cowl hood. It looks bad azz.
