so i was wondering what all did yall get as gifts from yalls families? I got a light brown dashboard cover, a Ford Logo reciever hitch cover, a 210 piece tool set, and a Cortland Finnegan #31 Titans Jersey from my Girlfriend, since Finnegan is my favorite player.

 

I got a M9 Beretta, New Dewalt 18volt batteries.Armor all car care kit.and some new power window switches for my 96 F-250.Would like to see a pic of your 48. My uncle has 50 that his Dad bought new.

 

yeh i know bout the pic of the 48. havent been able to steal the camera away from my girlfriend and havent been able to get out to where i have it stored.

 

I haven't gotten my present yet. The kids are already getting tired of what they got.

The wife and I decided to get each other a big screen TV. I can't decide if I want the $800 last years tech or go for $1200 for this years tech, which will be out of date by summer. I never thought I'd spend this much to have nothing to watch on TV!

Maybe we need a recession.

 

Just make sure that last years tech is able to be retrofitted to be able to do today's tech. Otherwise it'll cost you twice as much. Sometimes trying to nickel and dime everything doesn't work out as well. I don't think there should be any issues with last year versus what's out this year except efficiency. I have to go out and get a new amplifier in order to get my system up to snuff. The one I have still works after 7 yrs, but it's way outdated(it was outdated when I got it as they were changing models and trying to get rid of it, but other then cosmetics it wasn't too outdated tech wise), but I managed to get it with money that I won at BINGO.

 

I got a set of westin ss nerf bars from my wife. I ordered a transgo tugger shift kit, too me, from me.lol

 

Man; you guys must of been extra good for Santa to bring you all that stuff.
I got new tires for my 65 F100 model, got alittle beefer Uniroyals Tiger paws, a parts washer, acouple cool long sleeve dress shirts with old cars & trucks (Bass pro), new retracable Craftmans extenison cord reel 3 prong & light set; acouple gift cards for Sears.
I'm been very lucky since majority of the past year I was bad.

i got a $50 gift card to advance auto parts, some money(that got spent on non-christmas things) , socks and shoes, and a neat pen set.

 

My son and his wife just came in from St. Joseph, MO. They got me a coffee thermos with travel mugs, a coleman lantern style clock, another variant of Settlers of Catan game, and oh yes...

news that I will become a grandfather sometime in August!!!

You might want to get web cams. My wife and son [he has one] got me one for Christmas so I can talk to him and see him live on my computer. He is in the NAVY and its amazing to see him and talk to him at the same time.

 

I've been spoiling a grandson for almost 13 yrs. Its the best way to get even with your kids for the stuff they did to you when you were trying to raise them.LOL
