need help locating wires

Well, my sister got a 10% off code for ebay that she emailed me and I tried to use.....apparently they know that I'm not supposed to have the code, so it wouldn't work 
I had already commited to buy so I just bought it.....hindsight I should have had her log in and commit to buy, and pay etc.. And then paypal her the money as I don't see her in person much.
Ordered up the Kenwood DNX5120 w/back up camera.....just need to order the I-pod cable now. Debated on the bluetooth.....decided against (at least for tonight, LOL). Not sure if I "need" the remote either....but I'm thinking about it. May wait until I get the unit and install it to decide.
I place the blame solely on you Kenwood guys on here for making me purchase this

Ihave the pioneer in my Z3, I got the wired and wireless remotes for it, you know you need that kind of stuff....... the are both sitting exactly where I put them after they came in the mail....... on the shelf. I realized the touch screen was so easy …. You forgot about having the remote and never used it.

you going to enjoy it for sure, i do. that backup camera is so cool that i have it on just for gigles, it has an option if you hold nav button you can turn it on at any time...
ill passed on bluetooth,and remote, but i might get steering adapter ...

Need your help please
not pete but i have a kenwood dnx7100 (older model). i chose it because it uses garmin nav software on a hard drive and the comparable pioneer was dvd based navigation, more expensive and didnt seem as functional to me but everyone that has one likes them for the most part.
the only thing you would want is a pac swi for steering wheel control and an ipod cable or adapter depending on what model you get. then theres bluetooth (5120 has this free from crutchfield and traffic add ons as well.)

Guys I need real help I installed a Kenwood DNX7100 in my 03 Explorer W/premium sound and there is three things I need desperate help with.
1st The 12v to 5v inverter I have has three wires Black, Blue and White, and a Blue and Red. What do I hook those wires to on the head unit and the plug with the two RCA jacks on it? I have them going to Black-Ground, Blue/White-Blue/White in plug W/RCA jacks and from head, Blue/Red-Ext.Amp.Cont
2nd When I turn the car off then back on the display, displays the Call screen instead of turning to Ipod because that's what the unit was playing when the unit was turned off. I have the Bluetooth module and hooked the brown wire to the Black ground on the wiring harness. But I don't think that's what is causing that and the unit remembers all the sound changes I've made.
3rd my ash lights are no longer working/ I wouldn't thing that anything at the two plugs for the stereo would cause that
PLEASE NEED HELP BAD!!!!!!
