Anybody going to check out the after Christmas sales tomorrow? Wife wants to so I have to drive. She won't drive in heavy traffic.

I have to return some rented DVDs, so I just might accidentally park in front of some big box store that's having a sale. I could use another Wifi USB adapter, maybe a "Planet Terror" or "Death Proof" Blu-ray movie. And I should buy a Christmas present for the truck.

The best way to shop is from home. I don't like driving in heavy traffic either.

I would, if I had any money, could get out of the driveway, or wasn't enochlophobic. I can't stand being around that many people, especially people willing to shove and trample you to save a buck.

It was pretty quiet in town, and maybe it says something about the economy that even in late afternoon a lot of the door-crasher specials hadn't sold out. Or maybe people were scared to drive in the snow. I picked up a USB headset for $15 (regularly $50) and an 8 gig SDHC card for $13 at Staples. Canadian Tire hadn't sold out of the $148 1200 watt generators. I didn't get one, but if the power goes off for 3 days like it did a couple winters ago, I could regret it.

Same here. wasn't near the amount of traffic I expected. The stores still had a lot of the door buster specials at 2:00 pm plus people weren't buying a lot of stuff.
