ok so i just got my new gauges and k&n air filter

but now i need to know how hot i can get before i start melting stuff

1250 or so preturbo and about (I think) 900 post trubo is a good rule of thump.

Why bother? They're both cotton gauze filters. A TYMAR is a lot cheaper, filters great and will support well over 500 HP.

x2 for 6637 filter..... and 1200 preturbo and i wont give a number post turbo since the variables are so great for temp fluctuation post turbo.
