my truck would smoke bad at startup also. thought it was a glow plug problem. glow plugs checked out ok. (ended up buying gpr). but it would still smoke at startup , but not all the time. i didnt really notice smoke after it warmed up. keep in mind 2 if my injectors werent even torqued anymore so my injector o ring problem is probably different. mine was getting blown out by cylinder compression.
i ended up going with stage 1's. there were 210k on them . dzl jim said i had some worn barrels and plungers and a bad nozzle on the one that had no copper gasket left. whole deal about $850.
you might be able to get by with an o ring kit. 130k on injectors dont seem like much to me. you'll know what you have when you take the injectors out. hard cracked o rings, culprit. end of the injector looks like it was in a fire, a little more to deal with.
