i have a early 99 f-350 and it is time to do a few things to the truck. main things are the batteries and glow plugs. any one like a particular battery? i am also going to do a tranny flush, glow plug relay, front/rear diff. i just want ideas on what kind of plugs to buy and what brand of fluids to get.
i got a christmas bonus so i am doing what has needed to be done for awhile, i am tired of it not starting when it is only 30 degrees outside. also wanna do a leveling kit if anyone has ideas on that
Make sure you get Motorcraft glow plugs, nothing else. I bought Wal Mart batteries a while back. There are only a few manufacturers that make all the batteries now, so get the best price/warranty.

No argument from me. I have also noticed that the Motorcraft batteries that come in our trucks are some pretty durable units. I almost went that route, but I got a discount from Wally because I worked part time security for them some time ago.
Wally is definitely cheaper no doubt about it, and there is a Wally everywhere you are traveling these days. Most mechanics shops carry Interstate though, so if you are traveling, they can be had if there is a warranty issue.
