I am getting my truck lifted tomorrow about 3 inches and in the next week or so i want to get new shocks. i am getting whole new suspension, new coils and leafs. i was wondering what kind of shocks to get.

First off, you should have gotten your new shocks BEFORE having the lift installed. Ths stock shocks won't be near long enough (unless your doing a body lift - you didn't say).
As for what shocks to get, in all honesty there isn't much difference between them. Unless you go with Edelbrock or Bilstein shocks, don't pay over about $35-40 per shock.
If you want to get really trick, you can get a set of Sway-A-Way or Bilstein's higher level shocks with external reserviors. These are the same shocks race trucks (Baja, SCORE, etc.) use. Expect to pay anywhere from $100-300 each for these.
