Spraying anything near the pulley won't hit the front bearing so the noise may be your belt.. Alt bearings will make noise every day.. Check idler pulleys and take the belt off and check. Also the tensioner...

Let me correct. Volga was introdused in 50-s with 4 cyl engine, later V8 (5.5l). But people say that V8 was tested on Ford Mainline imported from USA like car of the same size and weight.
Stalin ride was Gaz-12 ZIM. DIYers love this car becouse body is very tought and they like to put mid.size truck engines (usually MB OM602-606 ore later OM904-906(MB9000 in the USA) under hood. YouTube - engine om602 in zim gaz-12
M20 Victory (domestic Pobeda) was introdused in 1942-43 but they started to build them after the war. It was called Victory becouse it the Idea was to start selling them immideatly after the war. It was Stalin's idea. It was like a gift for soviet people. There is a mith about this car. Really Victory is a bit bigger then Taurus and Smaller then CrownVic. ZIM is very big, longer then F150 and very heavy, about 3400 kg, some versions were 4500-5000 kg. Stalin did test ride and said... not so big Victory.... Thanks for the reply's, I will rebuild the bearings and see what everything else looks like when I do it. I know its got to be the bearings because it screams everyday, but its deafening on moist days. Oh, and when I rebuild I'll be sure to not impact the bolts off so I don't crack my case.
Well, the rebuild went well and lasted for about 4 months; but now my red AMP light is on and the alternator only charges at 1500+ engine RPM so it looks like 140k is all I am going to get out of this thing.
If you want it to last more then a year, get the factory rebuild kit. Also you can get a good used "Factory" one from the yard. Ford used these in many types of cars and trucks. Break it open and clean it up. If your lucky you will find a Hi amp one. It has a ext. rectifier . and last longer, cause it can cool down outside. Make sure to use the thermo paste when you install it.
