I'm new here and this is my first Post. My name is Paul and i live in Prescott
Arizona. I just bought a restored 1952 Ford Pickup and LOVE it. Below is something about the truck.

All steel 1952 Ford F1 pickup
Frame powder-coated. Wheels powder-coated.
Completely rebuilt flathead 239 CI V8 motor with .80 over 4 ring pistons.
Engine balanced, New small block Chevy valves.
Motor City Flathead full flow oil filter system.
Offenhauser aluminum heads, Offenhauser intake manifold with Holly 4 barrel carb.
Electronic ignition with single wire alternator.
12 volt system with all new wiring.
New exhaust system with Reds headers and Smithy mufflers.
Stock suspension with new shocks and new rear springs.
All new brakes and brake lines with residual pressure valves and adjustable proportioning valve for rear wheels.
New dual reservoir master cylinder with vacuum booster.
T5 five speed manual transmission and Ford 9 inch rear end.
New electric radiator fan. New gas tank and sending unit.
New tinted glass.
New steering wheel.
New 2 speed electric windshield wipers.
Turn signals.
The bottom of the bed is diamond plate and the entire bed is sprayed with Rhino liner.
Color "Fire storm" Chrysler.

very nice truck! If thats considered "Dark Sider" then thats what I want for my 51 F1, and it still looks all stock from the outside, I think its a perfect amount of mods to make it even that much better to drive what are the chrome? looking strips on the tops of running boards? looks nice.
Oh and welcome to FTE, I would love to see some pics of your engine and engine compartment etc.
