When im going down the rode od some time starts to flash like going up hill and some time when i run 70-75 down the interstate. then the mph needle starts to bounce up and down and the abs light come on. what is going on

If you get a slip code it will be the torque converter.
It's more than likely the Rear Antilock Brake Sensor (RABS) on top the rear differential. It's pulls double duty as a Vehicle Speed Sensor (VSS). When the signal gets interrupted the trans doesn't know what to do (No VSS input) so it flashed the OD light, goes into "Limp-in-Mode" and may shift very hard or not go past 2nd gear.
You can remove the RABS and clean off the accumulated crud. It's magnetic and holds onto the fine particles in the fluid. Check the connector for dirt, corrosion too.
