hi I am only getting 4.5 volts at my fuel pump is this normal? I tried replacing the relays for the fuel pumps and also the EEC. then did a ohm check on the pump and they are also good, and also inertia switch was checked. any suggestions
ok here is what i have sone so far
i checked both relays (fuel and eec and replaced both)
replaced the inercia switch
checked the fuel pump on the rail and it is good and also checked the front fuel pump and that is also good.
I was wondering if the volts at the fuel pump on the rail is to be 4.5 or over 10.5
Start at the relay and work your way back to the pump, checking the voltage at each junction until you find where it drops significantly. Then you will know roughly where the problem is. Are you forcing the fuel pump relay to activate when you are testing voltages?
