A not to uncommon site to see Kenny's PSD being towed to Kris's shop. He is lucky to have a friend like you around who has the means and the spare parts to do all this. Maybe he needs to look into some new gears for the truck now. Reps to you Kris good job!

Well as it has been mention I want to thank kris a bunch! Not only did he come and pick me up off the side of the road and take it to his shop to use his tools and such he offered to give me his old 3.73 gears to use until I could get a little money saved up to buy some 4.56's. He did all the work as I had NO idea what i was doing! again I cannot thank him enough! Not only this but the day before he let me use his shop from 9 am till 11ish pm to take my h2e out and try putting in the new gt42 but realized it needed more modifications to the mounting kit then I wanted to do. No it really didnt take me this long to do that little work i was back and forth between helping him put in his new motor after the UPS guy had came. Not to steal his cake but he got the wrong turbo...AGAIN!!!!

Keep in mind that a 4.56 applies 22.3% more TQ to the rear axel compared to a 3.73, and that extra TQ increases the load on the carrier bearings, and those bearings are a known weak link! I went through 2 sets of them towing heavy, and many others have also reported the same problem. What condition were your carrier bearings in when it came apart, were there any signs of flaking?

The reason he is putting 4.56's is to bring the RPM back up where it should be

You gotta give some to get some, to look cool.
