Well my friend bought a Chevy pick up. He tried to move it but the TC isnt good. So what does he do? Calls me. So me and my friend AJ went over with my truck and his F-250 gasser and I flat towed him with a rope and chains. Only time I had to get towed was when I broke my steering gear box off roadin. I drove 10 miles and then called Wes (wmiller) and we put it on his gooseneck. I LOVE it when Chevy and Dodge guys call the Ford guys cause they need towed and know that nothin else will last long enough to get them home except for a Ford. I've towed 6 trucks. 1 Jeep, 3 Dodges, and 2 Chevy's. Points list: my truck 6 junk trucks: 0. Story time over. Just thought yall would like to hear.
First thing I towed with my truck was a '08 PSD from Texas to Minnesota, the looks form people in '08's on that trip were pricrless...have not towed any other trucks but a lot of vehicles
i just think its funny that everyone calls me round town if they need towed lol cost of fuel: $15 cost of the others brakes: they need new ones lol cost of me bein called everytime: priceless
i have towed an 97 dodge 2500 cummings ext cab 4x4 with my truck the dodge would barely run only at idle with clouds of smoke comming out the exaust. he tryed to drive it over to my trailer only to drive over a large meal object so i pulled him off of that by hooking an tow strap to my trailer and then to his truck. and then had to winch it onto the trailer.
havnt really thought about it, she's an 89 f-150, standard cab long bed with a cap. 300, 5speed 2wd. all it needs is a freeze plug, it was my parent's truck and has had a good life. i was jealous that this truck has 0 rust on the body!!!!!! the paint is faded but buffs to mirror finish. (you'll see the fender when you get here.) i was thinkng 1500 bucks after i put the plug in. if he wants it now make me an offer. the plug should only take about an hour to so and costs maybe 5 bucks. i'm just lazy and its cold out....lol
well at least i was smart. i knew that his truck might not hold up so since they are junk i let him hook the chain and rope. he hooked round the leaf springs but hey im just the puller. we got to the garage and all the bolts were loose on his front end
hahaha.
"I was just trying to spool the turbo so i could make sure i didn't smoke you guys out standing around!"
Who the hell am i kidding.
if it was mee and i had the TW chip, i'd throw that bugger on the smoke setting, so the chevy guy could laugh at my truck as black smoke poured out the sidepipes.
Then say, damit i broke something i think. flip the chip and rip out the front end. hahahahha
then you yell out the window "I think i fixed it!!!"
