PCM Swap
2 months ago i replaced all 8 injectors on my 95 psd with splitshot "AD" injectors but instead of having my computer flashed to run splitshots i thought about taking one out of a 97 with an auto tranny??? would that work and where is the pcm located????

Only the california emissions 97 ran split shots and they were smaller than AD's. So you still won't be right where you need to be. I would get yours reflashed or just get a chip from Tony Wildman burned for the AD's. You will be impressed!!

It is on the driver side firewall, has a lot of wires going into a plug held by a 10mm bolt. Remove plug, drop the plastic fender well cover a lil, and wiggle out through the engine compartment. This is much easier than taking it out from the interior.

Don't we all......
Running the AD's in my truck with the 17° pump I can still set a CEL at will. but I have a project going that will fix that!
