Scan Tools
I have been looking at this scanner,AutoEnginuity PC Scan Tool (USB) just wondering what you guys thought and what scan tools you are using?
And if it would be money well spent?

That is the most recommended scan tool on this forum (and a few other forums too). I have it, and it works great. You need to get the Ford bundle in order to scan PSD's and all other Ford vehicles.

I consider it to be an invaluable diagnostic tool. You won't regret buying one. I does more than 'code readers' that cost just as much.

i have AE and love it..you get free up dates the first year then its $50 a year to keep up dated... here is there web page for more info on it..

Realy like the tire size recal for bigger tires(have 35" myself).

My AE paid for itself the very first time I used it in that I did not have to go to the dealer to diagnose my problem and I was able to fix it myself. I believe this to be the best scan tool available for the 7.3 and it will do so many other vehicles as well.
Yes, it was more expensive than most of the others out there, but truly, in this case, you get what you pay for. My rationale was that I was keeping my 7.3 for quite a while and the expenditure was fully justified especially since I do most of the work on the truck myself.
All serious 7.3ers should have one of these.
