Live tuning from Jody.

Well guys, I am heading to DP-TUNER on the 4th of January for live tuning on the 5th. . Jody will fix the problem with my idle. I should be good to go after this. Sure is a pain with the way it is idling now. But, with my newer mods, this happens sometimes. He said we could send the chip back and forth till we get it right, but we agree it's best for him to have the truck there to get it right. Times like this is when the F-6 would come in handy.

I look forward to getting out of the store for a couple days. I sure hope the weather is good. Does it snow up there? The only snow I have seen is what we get down here every 6-7 years. lol.

Be safe on the trip Rick. Back when I made the LA to GA trip it would take me 10hrs from DeRidder to Ft. Benning so that'll be close to what you can expect in travel time. I hope to someday get the live tuning as well.

I hope that you get all of this worked out. Did you ever post up your pictures of the install???? If you did, I never saw them.

Thanks Darrell, That is what I was thinking, around 10 hrs. I am so excited to be going there.

Jeffrey, I have the vid of the install, but can't figure out how to put it on here. I would need someone to walk me through this when I get time. The vid is good, I can play it on my puter. I am not so good with these things.

Well Shoot. Rick that means youll be passing through my neck of the woods (if you take 10 to 65, then 65 to 85). You need to give me and Chris a holler and we'll eat a bite.

I think Im listed on the RHN

Benning is about 2 hours closer than where Jody is. He's up by near the Sc./Ga. border. Depending on how fast you drive Rick, it might be closer to 11 or 12 hours I would think, although, I have been known to hit 100mph out on I 10 for loooong stretches in the past. That wasn't in my PSD though.

Thanks guys,
Kris, I sure hope he can help me too. I don't like how it idles now.

Brandon, I am thinking about making this a round trip. Seem like the Yahoo map shows 700 miles and 10.5 hrs. If I don't make it round trip, I will have more time to make a stop or two on Sunday.

Jason, I hope it is only 10.5 hrs, could be like you said if the traffic is bad.

Hey Rick... let me know when you get closer, cause I might just be able to join you, Brnadon, and Chris for lunch as well. I have to be in Selma, AL on the 5th which is not too far from where you're passing through.

Ok, I'm jealous. I'm a lot closer to Jody and can't make time for a live tuning date. Be safe and I hope this gets you running right.

EDIT: Barry, lets get together and get this done. I know Roland is thinking about getting his injectors in to follow me there.

Have fun on your road trip; if you don't mind me asking, how much does the live tuning run?

That is a question that Jody has to answer. He is helping me out because I just had him reburn my chip for the injectors. I have a problem with my idle that he will fix with live tuning. I know it will cost me more to get there then for the tuning. But I think it is worth it. Give him a call and he will answer all the questions you have.
