Roland doesn't have to think about this. He just needs to see how yours turns out. I know he'd like to put his AE and SOTP meter on it before and after to see what difference live tuning makes. That will make the difference for him. If you get your idle issue fixed, I'd guess he'll be ready for some singles.
The idle thing has really been bugging me. That's one of the things I've been researching. I am hoping my truck will accept singles with any 'adverse effects'. I know that different mods react differently to different trucks. There many sublte differences in each one to make no two exactly alike. I am still looking at the Bean's SS Stage 2's, like Rick, but am worried about EGTs (mainly towing my 5ver) a little bit with my current mods. Not ready to plunk down the money for injectors and a new turbo. I have been considering going with a little smaller nozzles. I really need to talk with Ryan about his injectors to feel comfortable about them for my application. I don't really tow that often and I want to be able to do 'double duty'.
Money well spent! Nothing like having the "PRO" in the passanger seat!
Not according to Brandon. Apparently having Jody ride around with you causes the passengers to spill their beer. Nice to see you stop by FTE Joey.

Are you going to be able to hook up with Rick before the live tuning? I'd see what Jody can do, so you have more info when you talk to Ryan. I can't see singles ever being as smooth as the splits, but you should be able to get them comparable to the OBS trucks, and that should be mostly a noise issue.

I would like meet up with Rick again to get some 'before and after' AE data for comparison. I didn't really get to do any real data logging before I left and the injectors hadn't 'cleared up' fully either. But, I really don't have a free schedule to go to La before Rick goes to Ga.
I have been thinking of the F5 Freedom upgrade also. But, that still would be 'trial and error' with the emailed tunes. I don't mind a little noise, not the lope, though, that Rick is seeing. I know this will be worked out.
Jody is coming to California right around the third week of January, and I'm hoping to hook up with him for some live tuning on my F250, down at John Wood's shop in Holtville.
If all goes right, I should be able to meet Joey (Terminator Engineering) in Modesto too.
Congrats Rick on getting to do the Live tunning get as many people as you can to ride with you during it a cooler of beer in the back lead to some fun times at Smokin as Brandon stated. Jody will get you all tuned up .
That is a question that Jody has to answer. He is helping me out because I just had him reburn my chip for the injectors. I have a problem with my idle that he will fix with live tuning. I know it will cost me more to get there then for the tuning. But I think it is worth it. Give him a call and he will answer all the questions you have.

Good luck with your truck, maybe one day, i'll get mine live tuned. Let us know how she runs.
Joe, I don't know if you know that Smokin will not be in TN this year. It will be in PA. So lots of us that were planning to go, will not be able to make it.
Thanks guys for the well wishes. I really don't want to tell my wife right now that I need to go to AR. She wanted me to buy a new truck, but I told her I could fix this one up the way I would like if for a lot less money. . I don't even want to add all this up. I know the trans is next, but Mike is still on his trans, so I will see how it goes.
Joe we are trying to get an meeting to go at the TS Outlaw event in bowling green KY May 8-10.
Rick just tell her it must be done and thats it for a couple of weeks . Mike barely drives his truck where you drive it all the time to so thats a big difference.

Yeah, Joe. Will start looking closer at this after the first. Might need to take it easy on my truck, and do more fishing so it will last till May.
