Fowlerville is in Michigan about 35 miles East of Lansing. You could say I'm almost directly in the middle of Detroit, Flint, and Lansing.

OK. My daughter and family live in Muskegon, so we get up there a couple of times a year to visit.

Mossberg makes some decent pumps that aren't too expensive too.

The problem with getting a gun is finding one that fits me, with me being short and short arms. My 270 was my dads and he had to cut the stock so it would fit me. Most of the guns are to big for me. So when i do find one i like it is expensive, thats why i tend to stick with pistols. You are right Mossberg does make good pumps.

I was partial to the 870. They do make a Junior version that might work for you. Remington Model 870™ Express® Jr. Gander Mountian carries them. And Mossburg has um fer small size folks also. O.F. Mossberg & Sons, Inc. - Firearms, Shotguns, Rifles, Accessories, and Precision Machining I do like my coach guns these days.

Michelle, you could always get one with a folding rear stock. That way you just point and shot like in the movies.

Over/under 10-gauge is the way to go... but you might end up going to physical therapy.

The Remington 870 is a very nice shotgun - many of my friends own them and have nothing bad to say about them.
