I've never heard of anyone having problems doing that... it does add lubricity and as long as it's a low ash, high quality oil, it shouldnt cause any bad combustion chamber or injector deposits... it is somewhat expensive compared to using something like Lucas which has the added benifits of injector cleaners...
we buy that stuff by the four "one gallon" case... much much cheaper that way...it takes about 8 gallons to treat all the bulk tanks on the ranch, each time we fill em. Auto parts stores charge about 10 bucks a quart for it, but we get it for about half that when we buy cases of gallon jugs... about 10 oz per tankfull does a good job.
