Isolating poor cold running- found two issues...how bad is it?

Update: This morning I didn't mess with the HPOP to see if I could clear the truck with a good stomp on the throttle....but I didn't get that far. The truck started with a lopey idle. After about 1 minute of idling, it died. When I restarted, it started up and ran much smoother, but the idle would jump a bit every 15 seconds or so. Pulled out and drove down the road...engine felt smooth just with the little jumps here and there ( definately feels like fuel delivery issue). When it warmed up, jumping went away....but the truck had no ***** this morning whatsoever. Will pick up a fuel filter on the way home....
