Death wobble at 10mph
The problem is that when I drive ove 10+ MPH there is a bad wobble, so bad you have to stop and start over again and keep it low..
Axels are bone stock and before the lift there was no issues.
What could it be, do i need a trac bar?
thanks in advance.
Get you caster under control and you will be able to drive at highway speeds again.
this wouldnt fix caster,
And new shocks on all corners and stearing staibilizer too
to fix caster is the best way to rotate the tubes to the pumkin? Or to cut the perches and turn the whole thing, right now it sits dead level to stck, so i thought there was no issues
thanks and sorry for sounding like a dumb, ****
Thats correct, the outer "C"'s will have to be cut and turned. As I mentioned my truck with 44's has been turned in excess of 20 degrees.
For this much heigth, you cant use a wedge large enough to correct the driveline issues. This wedge would have to be over 3/4 of an inch thick and this would not allow the indexing pin to penetrate the spring perch. This means the spring could slide right off. Though you probably could attach it right to the spring pack itself, it would have to clamp at a pretty crazy angle, and coule compromise the alignment pin itself.
Rotating the axle foward in this method changes caster in a huge way, and in most cases makes the steering too fast, and eny bump will give you the wiggles. You will drive down the road shaking like that shopping cart that nobody wants to get.
For the same reason that the shopping cart has a wobbly wheel, trucks shake like crazy.
Poor caster........
