They are the same length truck. I thought I was scoring something rare when I bought the upper racetrack trim from a junkyard. I took it home, added it to the stash of other trim, it was the same length as a regular 8' bed.

It's still a standard cab with an 8' bed- The axle is all that is moved. Different bed to allow for the axle being further back, same overall dimensions as a standard longbed pickup.
