A4LD trouble

Does your T5 have the internal shift rod like we have here? That puts the shifter at the end of the tail shaft. Where would that come out in the cabin? Also, does that mean the TC bolts to the end of the tail housing, vs replacing part of the tail housing, like on the A4LD?

this is not T5, this is russian GAZ tranny, but it fits some made in USA engines. The shifter is at the end of tail shaft and it comes in cabine between front seats
T-case fits this tranny with replacemet part, like on A4ld.
My aero is 2WD. My friend aero is AWD. He got tranny with T-case, but later he swaped T-case with Gaz69 T-case. this t0case is conected with tranny with additional DS. It was used on volga GAZ 24-95. Less noise.

Seems to me it is time to ask RB what tranny and what t-case to use....
Look, now it is difficult to find good used 69 t-case becouse G69 was discontinued in 70-s.... UAZ tranny and t-case are really noisy.
