U joints on '04 up

U joints on '04 up
I searched thru several pages and suprised to see no mention of these permanantly staked in u joint assy's on the f150' 04 and up. This is a real stupid thing Ford did. Is there a kit out there to replace just this part? Who wants to pay up to 700 bucks or more for complete d shaft assy if one joint fails?
And whats up with the aluminum driveshafts? who gets these? A certain vehicle "package" ? thanks in advance....paul 05 XLT scab

update on the u joint kits- Neapco has one for 89 bucks. But you get the reamer to ream out the staked in part, and spacers to take up the gap, plus ring clips of course. P/n 30488. (I think the stealerships have it also) I think ford went back to the ret. clip design in late 05 or early 06. BTW in need of Hollander exchange no's for driveshafts assy,,, 05 scab. 4 x 2. thanks
