1992 F150 starting problems, HELP

Have a 92 F150, when you turn the key it will sound like it is going to roll over, but nothing. Tested the coil with test light. Coil not getting any juice and either location. What could the problem be?

Welcome to FTE but, more info needed here;

Do you mean you tested the ignition coil?

So is the starter not turning the engine or is the engine not firing up?

try jump starting it, if that works then you don't have enough amps stored in the battery, battery may be bad or need charging.

If jumping it gives the same results, look at your cables that come out of the battery and go to the starter, you may have some corrision in your cables and not getting enough amps to the starter either from a bad positive wire or not a good ground conneciton.

Aside from that, need more info.

Clean all your electrical connections and see if that helps. Clean the battery posts and both ends of each cable.
