I tow two fifth wheels, on both the left signal is not working, I have a F350 with the 7 pin connector. My question is whether there is another fuse or something under the hood that would prevent the left signal from working. any suggestions?
I want to say the trailer turn signals are fused independently. However, I haven't had to track this down in a superduty, it was usually F150s. First thing I would do is verify the problem, take a DMM or test light to the plug. First test with the hazards on, then try with the brake pedal depressed. If don't have power check your fuses. You can look up your owners manual at motorcrafts website to find which fuses you need to try.
Thanks for Reply, I looked for the fuse box but couldn't find anything. Any idea how I can track it down? Are you sure they are under the hood. Its a '97 f350 with a 7.3L turbo.
I dont seem to have access to the publication. I don't quite get it, the 25 amp fuse is good, obviously have power to right and running lights, but where are the separate fuses for that you refer to? (Fuse 4, 6 and 7) Are they regular fuses or something that I might not recognize right off. Thanks again.
They are in a square-ish box with two rows of fuses and a row of relays. Half of those fuses are Maxi, but the rest should be regular blade fuses. I suspect this is the box under the hood.
