HIDs installed
Just got done putting in the HIDs I bought... I ordered these:
eBay Motors: HID 99-04 FORD F250/F350 HALO LED PROJECTOR HEADLIGHTS (item 360107534414 end time Nov-14-08 23:18:11 PST)
Some 3 weeks ago; they finally showed up last week, put them in over the weekend and finally got done trimming stuff and screwing them in one last.... scratch that I gotta aim them right now. Anyway, I had to leave them in for now as I gotta go to work tomorrow and I can't see a thing outside, but preliminary tests say I haven't gotten flashed by anyone, and they're a huge improvement over stock. I took it in to get an oil change (no, i don't do my own, thing doesn't fit in the garage)... and the oil guy's comments at the dealer, when they were bringing the X around goes: "well, here are the headlights, we should see your truck in a few minutes too" made me pretty happy esp knowing how crappy lights are on fresh snow
Anyway, here are the cell phone teaser pics:
They look a bit more blue than they came out in pics, which i'm not too crazy about - would prefer pure white, but so far I'm pretty happy with them. I still gotta aim them, hope I didn't blind anyone on the way home, and still gotta put in the fog lights (got projector but stock looking fogs, just need to get some HIDs for them, and some wiring done... just not looking forward to doing the install).

Big improvement, congrats. I just got a kit from the same seller, they were installed last week - HID + Xenon, was to pick up the truck today but never got around to it. Test drove it the other night before they tied all the wires down and was pleased - up to this point I refused to drive it at night. We added some Hella fogs as well, and I'm also going to swap out the factory one's for HIDs. Keep us posted.
