Well, bought a set, first I checked with the ebay guy, he posted the phone number in the auction so I called him... no clue what the bulb was - was going to order the hid kit to go with them at the same time... Asked him about the bulb, he said he didn't know offhand and that he would get back to me the next day when he gets to the warehouse. I ordered based on the premise that he would, never heard back from him. Stated in the ebay instructions i would appreciate if he emailed me or called me with the info so that I can order the HID kit to go with them at the same time, same deal.
8 days later no tracking number, no email, no reach around, no nada. I emailed him on ebay asking about a tracking number from work. When I got home I had my fog lights. No instructions on taking them apart, but it's not exactly rocket science. In the process you do discover how the gasket/rubber grommet that's supposed to keep humidity out of the lens has about 1/8 of an inch gap between the lens/casing. I'll be able to put a gold fish in there after a few minnesota months.
The things came with no wires, no switch, no relay, no fuse, nada. I'll be ordering the HID kit since that should come with some kinda wiring, and see what I'll need to go from there. I mainly started at the fog lights because I couldn't find a projector headlight casing that I liked the looks of, and figured, if these do the trick, they'll be a lot more factory looking than a projector headlight would be.
I bought a pair of PIAA 410 Series and 9005 HID Kit (no screws to remove the bulb, its just like the headlights), and on the way to FL last week I found out that I light up about a good mile with the combination of the HID Headlights and HID Fogs.
