Replaced the gp's an a 95 PSD (Motorcraft ZD 11's) after doing so the "Wait to start" still remains lit for quite some time could it be the gp relay also?
my stock ford relay has been on and functioning for the 4 years i've owned the truck and i couldnt tell you how long the previous owner had it on there... i got one of the good ones.lol
i just replaced my 3rd gpr with a stancor over the weekend. my truck wouldn't start unless plugged in for at least 4 hours. i replaced it saturday morning, left the block heater unplugged and it started up on the 1st try about 24 hours after it was last run. sat night was below 30*, snowy and windy, left it unplugged again and it started right up. even though it appeared that the gpr was working, voltage drop and all, it clearly wasn't. no more cranking and cranking and recharging batteries and cranking to start in the morning without being plugged in, so no complaints here.
