Hey Mark,got a question or two....
I've got the revised snap ring kit so I can change mine before it dislodges itself and breaks the ears in the case. I've got the parts kit and the OEM shop manual for the trans-are there any particular special tools that I absolutely need to teardown and get to that snap ring in order to change it? In working with the 4R70W's over the years I know there are a few tools that aren't absolutely necessary.
