At least 99-03 should work.

97-03 should work if you'd like to broaden your search for a stock cd player. the only difference comes in the wiring but the dash cut out for the cd player or the fm cassette is the same.

i must ask though, why not go aftermarket on a cd player? they are of much higher quality of cd player and provides more options. only reason i ask this is because that is what i would do. then again a lot of people like to keep the stock look of a truck, i wish i did ya know.

I swapped out my OEM Casette player with one off ebay, the seller was "oemdiscountradios" My truck is a 97,and I put one in out of a 99-03.Had to find the adapter harness, but it was fairly easy.

As said above '97 and '98's have a different connector but you probably don't want an older H/U anyway.

I sold the radio that I had, it was a factory am/fm/cd/cassette all in one.
I just have the original air cleaner assembly with a K&N filter and a matching tire for my old truck that will go to the new owner locally when I find them.

Sorry about the slow response... I think I paid 35.00 for it. This was a "Buy it Now" or best offer deal.
Originally it was 50.00,and they accepted the best offer.

I just tried www.oemdaiscountradios.com,and there isnt a site...however if you "google" the name,it will direct you to an ebay link for them.....
