2001 escape getting code p0505 idle air control system anybody know wat would cause this

What type of drivability problems does it have? Any other codes? Is it a V6 or I4 engine? The simple answer, of course is it needs a new Idle Air Control Solenoid. However, do not throw parts at it to make the light turn off. What else is going on with it?
