Great pictures. I love threads like this. Although I have only had my truck for 11 days I keep the hope and the patience it takes to some day see the results.
I live in the western part of Canada where men are men and women are too...LOL The holes are poor man's AC.
I have told people that I picked the truck up late at night; and hence the bullet holes but I suspect that the truth is something closer to a farm boy out hunting gophers, taking some target practice. There probably wasn't a broad sided barn nearby. There were no exit holes, so probably low calibre .22 ga.
Since it will be a long time till I'm actually "done", I'll just do a before and where-I-am-now picture
Before: Had a 4000# bed and a 5,000# broken compressor on it
I spent the night trying to get the compressor off after my "help" discovered it be too much for his trailer, even after I told him the weight from the start.
Since then I've shortened the wheel base, put a bed on, modified the fenders, gave it a temp paint job, fixed the grille and some other things. Still a LONG ways to go though... the topic "shorteneing an F-600" going on now is about what I've been doing to it these past few weeks.

Last I knew you had found a later style bed (there it is!!!) but I didnt know you got so far with it already!
I think the topic I posted on it has gone on so long no one checks it anymore, that and for some dumb reason I gave it a name that sounds like I'm asking a question not doing something. Here's the build:
