CAN'T get my HEAD off!!

No not that one, the drivers side head , I can not get the dam thing off, I have beat on it until I am blue in the face... it won't come off... any sugestions??? Starting the teardown today, I wanted to get it to the machine shop tomorrow... Thanks in adavance..

I checked and re-checked.. no more bolts... I got em all. All twelve. I also got a bigger hammer, 15# sledge.. still won't come OFF! now this is making me angry

CHIT! there are 6 more on the outside of the head, for a total of 18! ya it cme right off.. Thanks guys, I'll post a pic of two cyl. that are toast!

That is because for the 2001 and 2002 models I searched it said 6.0 head. Hmmm?

Here are some pics, cyl. 5 and 7. I understand now why this thig smoked like a freight train! something got in there and beat the chit outta the piston, rings are all but gone.. slaps back and forth 1/8" not good.

i typed in 1999, didnt even look for the year truck he had, my mistake..saw the same thing though when i typed in 2000

18 bolts??

Did anything come out of the cylinder when you removed the head?!?!? And was the turbo shot???? Get a picture of the underside of the head too please if you can.... i wanna see how this compares to ccg's work...
