Fe block numbers? C7MEA
I have a FE motor in my 59 F250, block # is C7MEA what do these numbers mean? I will check the stroke tonight

Looks like it is a 67-70 era 428 to me.

Auta make the ol effie haul ice.

Head numbers? Intake numbers? Check the stroke. Check the date code on the block on the oil filter pad. The block was a 1967 Mercury engine.

I agree. Could be one of a few different blocks. The 390 block in my Cougar is a C7ME-6015-A.

well i did the, use a dowel to check the stroke trick and it came out to 3 and 3/4 wich makes it a 390!!
