Number Dummy can you help again?

Having trouble identifying a Spacer Ring that goes on the pilot journal of the output shaft on my 53, 3 speed, overdrive, light duty transmission. Painted on the case 3TA. My illustration calls it a 7063. Going to the parts list though, it doesn't show for the remaining numbers. The pilot journal OD that it goes on is .83"
Thank you
Bob

Where did you find that basic p/n of 7063?

It's not shown in the pic of the transmission or the O/D.

The snap ring is basic number 7064, that is all I see.

I have the books, but they're the same issue = printed 1964.

B-7063 .. "Spacer, Output Shaft Pilot Bearing" is shown in parts list #1.

But...you have a 1953 w/O/D, and that transmission is parts list #14 (Text-page 329-last entry).

7063 is not listed.

The same trans was used in 1954. 1955/56 O/D trans is parts list #27. Again, there is no listing for that spacer.

Not listed = not used.

Parts catalog illustrations are generalized because the only purpose is for part number basic number info.

One year might use a particular part, the next year it's no longer necessary.

EDIT: I also have the 1953 Ford and Mercury Truck Chassis Parts Catalog, printed May 1953.

No 7063 listed for the O/D transmission.

Bill thanks for your time. When I opened mine up, there was a flat, shim type washer where the 7061 spacer is suppose to be. It is buggered up so I wanted to replace it. I've been getting my parts from Mac Vanpelt and he came to the same conclusion as you after trying the B7063 (too small diameter) I will put it back together without any. Thanks again
