Yep, all the FE's and FT's you'll ever see have the same size, 2.4384". Nascar cranks had .080" wider journals, and require Nascar rods, or widened standard rods. It wouldn't make sense to run standard rods on a Nascar crank, though.
I have one other question , does it matter if the notches in the rods, where the bearings sit, are oposite each other? I have a 360 with them oposite and a 390 with them mixed . the large camfer is matched, no matter which way they face, on the various rods. thanks bob
The notches should go together, they're like that on every Ford Motor I've ever had. Rod #'s ( 1 thru 8) should be on the same side as the bearing notches. The chamfer will face the outside of the rod journal.
