Im seriously considering getting the DP F5 (on sale) even though they have the F6 out now. I want to have a few ideas in my head as to mounting the switch for it. If yall have pics that would be even better!
Do yall know how much it Jody charges to reburn for a VB or any other mod?
Here is how mine is done:
there are a few more pics in gallery as well.
I was thinking about a flush mount install and have seen the one they offer but I would MUCH rather mount it into something like the light switch panel that is much more affordable than a new dash!
Thanks for the pics so far. Its def giving me some ideas.
This picture is sort of mis-leading, but you can see the speed I was driving when it was taken with my cell phone It's only blocking from 80 mph and up, which can easily be seen by just leaning over a couple inches. So really.....it doesn't block it hardly at all. Diane from DP has this same mount in her Excursion I believe......

Is that the Autometer steering column mount?! Where you get yours from?
This is the first i've heard of the in-dash mount that dp offers. It looks really cool. I wonder where else it could be mounted besides next to the 4x4 switch because I have the backup sensors so I don't have that extra space right there.
My F5 is for sale. The chip is being re-burnt for the BTS valve body. I will be keeping the switch and cable however. I have 8 tunes plus no-start and stock. I believe Jody charges $45 for the re-burn, but may give a discount if you add tunes, but don't quote me on that.
Here is my mount, it's upside down but I don't feel like taking that gauge out and plugging it back in because it's a PITA.
I don't know where Travis got his but I got one from ITP. I bet Travis got his there as well.
Well I paid Dennis for it, but he was actually out of stock, so we worked a deal out with Strictly Diesel, the shop that did my install stuff, they had it in stock, and the owner and Dennis are neighbors. He is that type of guy.....he'll go the extra mile to make things work for you! Slight hi-jack....but yes, I believe it is the Autometer gauge pod, not positive though, I just emailed Dennis (ITP) and told him that I wanted one, done deal
