I've decided that I'm going to put an 05 bumper on, instead of cutting my grille. I'm looking at the excursion bumper because it can be painted...what else do I need if I'm going to do this? Does it bolt on?

 

All the 05+ bumpers are painted for the most part. I belive you have to have the complete header panel to do the 05+ bumper.

 

oh, great, I'll look into just an 05 bumper then. from what I've read, the header panel is only for the headlights (i've cut my 2000 panel to fit the 05 lights already)

 

Well if you do the 05 bumper you need to do the grill because of the gap between grill and the bumper do to the 05 grill being over sized.

 

already have the grille was too lazy to cut it

 

I saw an O5 front end conversion kit that included an 05 bumper and it listed 05 bumper brackets as part of the kit. You might what to check and see if your bumper brackets will fit the 05 bumper.

 

I'm not sure if these are ford PNs or not?
