2001 headliner

Hello,

I am looking at a 2001 Excursion with the 7.3 PSD. It had an after market DVD player installed in the headliner that was removed before being traded. The hole for the wiring is still there and I was wondering if anyone had ever replaced the headliner or knew of a way to cover the hole that would be pleasing to the eye? Didn't know if there was a storage device that could be installed. Thanks for the help.

Regards,

Mitch

Mitch, how 'bout another DVD player? They're pretty cheap on eBay and a cinch to install. Why some Excursions already have the holes in the headliner........hey!

Thought about that but my kids each have portable DVD and I just dont want to spend the extra $$. I haven't even looked at it yet. Five hours from where I live. 80,000 miles for $12,995. Should have photos soon. Sorry about the double post but couldn't figure out how to delete one of them.

Regards,

Mitch

Ain't gotta apologize to me!

I do not know of a way to cover up those holes short of replacing the liner. Maybe you could add some lights there??

Thanks Ken,

Got photos today. The hole looks like about 6" round with other poke marks to go with it. Had some other issues in the photos so I will keep looking. Looking for an 01-02 with 7.3 PSD. I bought a 1973 Silver Streak camper this summer and need a tow vehicle.

Regards,

Mitch
