4-140 aggressive
5-140 extreme
6-lope idle

but the sad part is i have to wait to buy gauges and the bts vb and the reason i bought the chip first is that i have the money for that now and would like to just have it on hand for when i get all the other stuff in which will be about a month((((
do yall think this was the right thing to do or no
You could have saved a few bucks if you just got the 140 Aggressive and ditched teh 140E and the 120Race tunes because they are all the same. Now the bad thing is if you don't have the BTS VB and the tuner is set for it you cannot even use the DP because the tranny shifts will be very rough. Also most people set the 0 postion as a no-start instead of two stocks.
and yes i no it was a bad idea but i figure if i don't use it i don't know what i missing but if i use it and then lose it for a bit it will suck ha so right now im stock so its all god until i get it all up and running
Did you tell DP you had a modified tranny? If you didn't, you can run the chip tomorrow. With your mods, you'll have to tow heavy up a hill or floor-board the pedal and sustain 100+ mph for minutes before you cause damage.
I only have the 80E but I have no problems with the power or corners. The only problem I have is my fuel gauge drops to quickly from stepping on the go petal to hard to see the smoke come out the pipe and putting little cars and other trucks in thier place.......
Give Jody a call. He will talk to you and recommend what you need. If you are going to get a VB in a month, I would have him go ahead and set the chip for it, if not you will have to send it back to have the tunes reburned. That is if you are getting the F-5. If you are getting the F-6, you may be able to download the revised tunes. I wouldn't get the 2 140 tunes, I would stick with one.
You need to call him before he burns it. Good luck. You will love the new power. Get them gauges in asap.
As a new member of the permagrin club I would say put it in and worry about the other things later. Bigger exhaust and intake will keep you safe. Don't hold the peddle down too long in the 140 setting without knowing the egt. Other then that start it, warm it, and beat the hell out of it. Welcome to the club, you will love it.
