dp tuner decel ?

A friend of mine has an 02 F350 4wd SRW 7.3 and he installed the Banks Exhaust Brake kit last year. We all ride horses together in Utah and take his four horse trailer which when loaded weighs close to 10k lbs. There are some pretty decent grades where he flips a toggle switch and he never has to touch the service brakes. I really wanted to get one of these having burned out a tranny and a set of brakes on some other grades BUT he spent over $2k on his system and I just did not want to spend that much.
Then I learned Jody had the Decel tune available and I ordered it along with 60T/40T/80E. Tried it not long ago on a mild grade and I was pretty impressed. Not as good as the Banks that is for sure but it is only 1/5 of the price. I will be testing it a lot more over this coming summer but at the moment I am confident that this is a very worthwhile tune to get when you purchase the DP if you tow heavy and are concerned about your service brakes.
This is just a seat of the pants guess but my opinion is that the DP Decel tune works close to 80% of what the Banks kit has to offer.
