I've been to DP's site and can find no info on the Decel option. I have read different threads where people mention the decel and I would like to know more. So what is this and how does it work.
from what i been told..its not a driving tune..so when you want the brake you need to switch the dp..then back to what ever tune you want to be in..sounds like a pain to me..JMO...

Agreed.
Curtis- apparently Jody has come up with a new tune that has the same effect as an exhaust brake or close to it, but you have to switch between tunes in order to make it go. I'll just stick with the good ol' toggle switches for the EBPV.
When I Got My Tunes From Jody He Put In A Test Tune That Downshifts At 45mph. Is This What Your Talking About? Personaly, I Like The Test Tunes Better Than The Others. Dont Like The Louder Engine Noise Or The Surge, So Its Cck And A Ww For This Weekend.
I got the impression that it was some type of Ebpv brake of some sort. I see it refered to every once in a while and I am just wondering what type of VooDoo Jody has whipped up. Anyone have the DeCell?
Is there a common mod using a toggle switch to manually open and close the Ebpv? Is this safe? How hard is it to do? And lastly, does it work well? Sorry to hi-jack.
What I have been able to figure out is the Decel tune is for those who haul or carry a heavy load. The Decel tune de-fuels, locks the TC and closes the EPBV. This would be great for descending grades. I'm going to get this tune for the 9 mile grade I descend when hauling my boat to my favorite lake. It will be in a position right next to whatever tow tune I get. Won't be that inconvenient to use.

So it is for auto's only? I would think it could work for those of us with hand shakers, but until someone with the program chimes in.... I'll have to be paitient

I got the decel tune from Jody and here are my thoughts,
1. I like it alot and the sound is cool to.
2. I have only used it so far with a trailer that weight mambe 1,400 pounds( trailer 1000 lb and 1 bike about 400 lb) and it worked well comming down the freeway on ramp but I have not tried it going down a big grade yet.
3. I think how it work is it closes the EBVP valve, locks the T.Q. and Defuels to some Extent.
4. I dont think its that bad having to switch from 80 tow to the 60 decel tune
Hope this helps
