here and there it snows just enough to mess up the streets then melts and make huge mud pits!!!!!!

We had a dusting at the house this morning, and about a half inch here at the plant. Two days ago, according to the weather morons, you'd think we were about to enter another ice age. Those guys have not a clue!

thanks alot Pat, we got 4 inches on top of an inch of icey sloppy crap last night. Schools were all delayed this AM, then the one that my kids go to canceled. Grrrrr. The drop in day care didn't have any room and Wifey was already gone to Sioux Falls, so that makes me Mr. Mom. I can still work from home, so I haven't been totally unproductive. I think we give kids unrealistic expections of time off when it snows... all of us still have to go to work, they should have to walk uphill both ways to school!!!

Here's a photo of the new casa in Elk Point, SD...

We've got the home inspector coming out tomorrow and hopefully everything will check out OK. I don't think I had posted this specific house before, but it is nearly identical to another one just a block from my apartment. This one already has the lower level finished so I'm off the hook for home improvements!

If people would learn how do drive in snow I think I might actually enjoy it but no the morons got out and smack in to each other and don't let me get any sleep!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yeah, compromise is a good thing. I coulda had 4 stall garage and inground pool for a lot less money in Dakota City, NE. Oh well. This one will shorten the wife's commute to less than an hour, and mine will only be around 30 minutes. This one is not in the **** covenant area we live in now, I can park in my own driveway without getting in trouble.
