ok, Rob,i walked out back and have the stuff you need, the visors are perfect, kinda creme colored and glove box door has the Ranger XLT emblem but has the wood trim and don't think they just pop off without messing it up
Oh, sure Rob. blow all your money on that stuff, instead of my grill....I'm so hurt...
Tell ya what Pat, since I'm a nice guy, I'll let you have the grill for a 91 Cadillac Seville...for free since it's the holidays and all. It only has some bent brackets on it, a kid backed into my wife's car years ago and he just bought her a new grill. I kept the old one around thought it looked cool hanging in the garage. Just got to find it, it's somewhere in storage...

hi guys,
not a hole lot pat. just got thru putting another app in at an insurance co. here in portland. they have been after me for a couple of weeks. and i don't even own a business suit. but its a job. the way i understand it the position is management.
and it pays 35k a year to start i guess. i keep telling them i'm a mechanic. they want setup an interview. for when i don't know.
here's my question what would they want with a redneck mechanic like me?
My wife figured I was safe since my truck appears to not "need" anything... (evil laughter) little does she know that all trucks need something, it just may take a bit longer to decide what is needed....
Hey does anyone know how I could reset the odometer in my truck? I know the mileage isn't tracked with the title since it's over 10 years old. I thought it would be cool to reset it so I know how many miles I put on it.

Hey Jack... a lot of insurance companies like to get folks on board that may have had a lot of people-contacts in their prior line of work. They figure if you know people, and like to talk to folks, you might be good at selling insurance after some re-training.
I had checked into that when I was unemployed a few years ago living in Montana. They had goals you had meet for sales, etc, in order to stay on the payroll.
A guy we knew as a Schwann frozen foods salesman transitioned into insurance. He was a really great guy and he seemed to do well at it, plus he had a lot of contacts from all the time he did his Schwann route.

Sure, that's easy. Just put it in reverse, and drive backwards til it says 000000....
Okay, so maybe not my best plan! May have to go to the tech forum for that one!

Well, maybe they want someone that can connect with regular people. Okay, that's crazy talk for an insurance company, I know! But, maybe it will work out for you Jack!
